The next TOMATIS® Practitioner Level 1 course will take place in Auckland on 26 - 27 January 2019. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
My name is Grace. I have a great interest in things that help people of all ages along their path of self-discovery, self-improvement and self-transformation.
I grew up in the United States and spent my twenties studying art & photography and traveling. I then decided to get my Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy because it was a way for me to follow my passion of helping people.
I moved to New Zealand in 2009 as I had fallen in love with it on my travels. I am now married to a New Zealander and we have a young daughter.
My work as an Occupational Therapist has allowed me to experience many different areas; the hospital setting, mental health, pediatric private practice, community rehab, and vocational rehabilitation.
After about 10 years in my career as an Occupational Therapist, I discovered the Tomatis® Method and was very excited to see how it fast-tracks a great many of the skills that I work on with my clients. From laying the foundation in the nervous system for more effective learning, communication, increased well-being and improved self-regulation to heightened levels of perception, processing and cognitive skills here is a tool that is both a pleasure to use and immensely effective, and with so many applications of helping people.
I work alongside Kylie Udjur, a fellow Tomatis® Practitioner in Inglewood where I am able to work in a flexible manner tailored to clients’ needs.
I do hope you will get in touch with me if you are interested in discussing how Tomatis® will be of help to you and your family/loved ones.
