The next TOMATIS® Practitioner Level 1 course will take place in Auckland on 26 - 27 January 2019. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
YOLINDA BULLIANS is a Tomatis® Practitioner Level 1 based in Hamilton. She is a clinical pharmacist (B.Pharm) registered to practice in New Zealand, UK and South Africa; a qualified pharmacist prescriber (PgCert, UK); and a practicing mineral therapist.
Yolinda was first exposed to the Tomatis® Method in 1980 as a pharmacy student at the University of Potchefstroom, South Africa. Whilst studying French as an additional subject, attendance was required at the language laboratory with sessions on the ‘Electronic Ear’ (now known as the Tomatis® Method), where she also met Dr. Tomatis.
Yolinda’s extensive experience with learning disabilities started in 1990 when her son presented with dyslexia and ADHD at the age of 6. She initially used a home reading development programme to help him, and later became a Master Trainer for the Centre of Dyslexia, offering certified training programmes in Port Elizabeth (SA). This included 10-day intensive courses, regular classes for children and adults, and training teachers to deliver programmes in schools.
Yolinda’s passion is health, learning and reading development. She has researched the best programmes in the world and use these in combination to maximise the benefit to those who come to her for help. The Tomatis® Method is one such programme and that she is delighted to be able to offer.
